ATLANTA – Manheim is helping dealers “keep it fresh” with a new series of “First Access Online Event Sales,” hosted each week on OVE.com, Manheim’s 24/7 online wholesale vehicle marketplace. The new sales give dealers access to the freshest pre-owned inventory during the earliest stage of the remarketing cycle – while the vehicle is still on a fellow dealer’s lot. Dealers can also buy with complete confidence since all First Access vehicles are backed by Manheim-approved condition reports and are eligible for Manheim’s National Buy Back Policy.

“Getting access to pre-owned inventory while it’s still on a lot really helps me meet my customers’ needs,” says Darren Colby, owner, Colby Auto Investments, located in Phoenix, Ariz. “It’s not only convenient because I’m buying ready-to-retail vehicles, but I’m also buying with more confidence thanks to mandatory condition reports.”

First Access Online Event Sales showcase pre-owned inventory from specific regions or specific dealers. Every vehicle’s location is clearly listed, so buyers can make easy and efficient decisions about the best way to transport or pick up the purchased vehicles.

Manheim has also kept dealer requests for added transaction speed and security in mind. Regardless of the vehicle’s source, title and payment are processed centrally to ensure secure and efficient transactions. To make transactions even more hassle-free, buyers can take advantage of one centralized Manheim point-of-contact for seamless support services.

“We have already held more than 70 First Access Online Event Sales since the program launched, and positive dealer feedback is definitely fueling the programs’ continued expansion,” says Rick Pomeroy, vice president, online integration, Manheim. “A nice addition to our collection of daily online sales, the dealer-to-dealer option of First Access sales is a win for both buyers and sellers because they offer yet another time- and cost-saving choice for busy dealers.”
