ATLANTA – Manheim New York, based in Newburgh, N.Y., held the first of what will become a regular series of standalone Heavy Truck and Equipment sales on April 2. The sales will be Manheim’s only dedicated Heavy Truck and Equipment sales in the Northeast and the largest of their kind in the area.
The inaugural sale took place at Manheim New York’s (formally Newburgh Auto Auction) dedicated Specialty auction site, which is located on 34 acres at 18 State Route 17K. More than 175 units were offered in-lane and online via Manheim Simulcast as well as OVE.com.
To support growing customer demand for these vehicles, alternating sales will be held for Heavy Truck and Equipment and Specialty vehicles at Manheim New York. Heavy Truck and Equipment sales will be held on the first Thursday of the month, and Specialty sales will be held on the third Tuesday of the month. Traditional vehicle sales are held at the main facility located at 2000 Dealer Drive in Newburgh, N.Y.
Located in the heart of the Hudson Valley, Newburgh is within 150 miles of New York City, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Jersey and Massachusetts. The facility is surrounded by six international airports, and is conveniently located to serve both the Northeast and New England markets. It is situated at the crossroads of New York State Thruway 87 and Interstate Route 84.
