Manheim Montreal Hosts Inaugural Sale at New Facility
ATLANTA – Manheim Montreal celebrated the opening of its new facility with an inaugural sale on Oct. 21, attracting more than 800 dealers and featuring more than 2,000 units to mark the occasion.

“Manheim has served customers in Canada for more than 25 years. This state-of-the-art facility represents our long-term commitment to the Montreal market, our customers, and the community,” said Manheim Senior Vice President of International Operations Mike Langhorne. “We are very pleased with the strong support we received from the local and out-of-province markets and look forward to continuing to deliver the types of products and services our customer expect and need.”
The sale featured units from consignors such as GMAC, Chrysler Financial, CrédiLinx/FinanciaLinx, Toyota, Honda, Nissan, BMW, and many rental car companies, including Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Discount. Online activity was brisk, with more than 25 percent of dealers contributing more than 1,000 bids via Manheim Simulcast.
Manheim Montreal opened in November 2007, and began running three-lane sales in January 2008. The 70,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility now features eight lanes with Simulcast capability, MAFS, reconditioning, online services, title processing, and inspections. Manheim has five operating locations in Canada.
