Manheim Louisville of Clarksville, Ill. has been named the top-performing auction of 2016 by Fiserv, Inc., a provider of financial services technology solutions.
The auction earned the honor for its strong performance in sales effectiveness and operations, Fiserv announced.
"Vehicle remarketing can be a challenging proposition for lenders seeking to quickly and cost-effectively move inventory," said Jarrod Nawojski, Fiserv's auction sales and performance manager of lending solutions. "Developing and implementing an effective vehicle disposition strategy is more than placing ads or sending inventory to auction. This is an understanding that Manheim Louisville embraced. Their ability to attract both a large local and regional buyer base translated into strong prices for our clients’ vehicles."
Identifying the best auctions is crucial in the current state of the remarketing industry, according to the company. Over 4 million vehicles are expected to reach the end of their lease in 2018, according to Auto Remarketing.
Fiserv has been ranking auctions since 2001 as a way to identify qualified partners. Last year, the company managed the remarketing of more than 85,000 vehicles. The top three auctions it ranks are scored on overall sales effectiveness, operational excellence, sales preparation, and marketing in the calendar year.
