ATLANTA – Manheim has become a member of the American Salvage Pool Association (ASPA), a nationwide network of organizations and individuals in the salvage pool industry.
“With the recent launch of Total Resource Auctions (TRA), Manheim wanted to identify opportunities to connect with other key salvage players who share a desire to contribute to the good of the industry, and we believe ASPA is the best possible avenue for that,” said Bill Tiedemann, VP for (TRA).
Manheim launched its salvage subsidiary in August and currently has 12 participating auctions across the country. TRA allows buyers and sellers to securely exchange damaged, inoperative and salvage vehicles through Manheim’s TRA locations and Web-based products, including Simulcast and Online Vehicle Exchange. Manheim expects to announce additional TRA locations before year’s end.
