SAINT-EUSTACHE, QC – Manheim hosted more than 75 community leaders and customers on November 15 to provide a sneak preview of its newest operating facility located just outside of Montreal, Quebec.

Joined by Saint-Eustache mayor Claude Carignan, Manheim Canada leaders Patrick Brennan and Yvan St-Jean acknowledged those who helped to plan and establish the 70,000 sq.-ft. state-of-the-art facility that will be fully operational in early 2008.

“Manheim has conducted business in Canada since 1983 and is excited to serve our growing customer base with the construction of Manheim Montréal located in Saint-Eustache,” said Patrick Brennan, vice president of Operations-Canada, Manheim. “We specifically chose Saint-Eustache as a central location from which to serve the area’s strong dealer community. The automotive market in Montréal is one of the most competitive in Canada. We welcome dealers and sellers to our site today and look forward to delivering the type of experience that Manheim customers expect.”

Manheim will invest more than $30-million in the Montreal facility. With expanded capacity due to added onsite facilities in mid 2008, Manheim Montréal will feature six lanes and offer a variety of remarketing services ranging from reconditioning to marshalling, title processing and more. Though the facility is under construction, Manheim is already providing a full suite of services including MAFS (Manheim Financial Services). Manheim will host its first sale with three lanes open to dealers on January 15, 2008.

“Building Manheim Montréal is an enormous, but rewarding undertaking. The facility is what it is today and what it will be in the months and years to come because of the united efforts of people working on many fronts - from the local government, to our land development and construction teams, to our highly qualified staff,” said Yvan St-Jean, General Manager, Manheim Montréal. “We are especially grateful for the support of Mayor Carignan and his staff who have enabled us to join and serve the Saint-Eustache community.”
