Dave Angelicchio died on July 7 after battling cancer for three years.
He was 67.
Angelicchio was a near-20-year veteran of the remarketing industry, having spent essentially all of it as the general manager, chairman, and CEO of his family owned Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction. He started at Pittsburgh Independent Auto Auction in July 1996 and continued working there until March 2015 when ADESA acquired the auction.
He also served as president of the National Auto Auction Association in 2010. Angelicchio retired in January 2017.
Angelicchio graduated from Saint Vincent College in 1973 with a bachelor of science in accounting.
He is survived by his wife Sue. Funeral arrangements and visiting hours are still being planned.
