DALLAS – The IARA Summer Roundtable is just around the corner, and Dave Sutton of VW Credit and John Brasher of Brasher Auctions are scheduled to moderate “Minimizing Value Impact from Frame Damage Announcements,” on Aug. 20.
The discussion will be an initiative to present the pros and cons of having a more detailed disclosure of frame damage announcements. When every vehicle with some type of frame damage is “blanketed” with a generic frame damage announcement, the vehicle’s value is reduced considerably, no matter what type of frame damage exists. The idea behind this initiative is to see what needs to be changed in order to have more vehicles valued higher.
All attendees are invited to voice their opinions and exchange ideas. For more information, visit www.iaraonline.org.
