CENTREVILLE, VA – American Honda Motor Co. has enhanced the Honda Certified Used Cars (HCUC) Web site to highlight Carfax 1-Owner cars.
Consumers shopping on the site can easily identify any certified Honda that had only one previous owner. For added peace of mind, complete Carfax Vehicle History Reports can be viewed for free right from the vehicle listings.
“Carfax is a key component of the HCUC program and they are constantly striving to improve the content and quality of their product,” said Dan Crowe, Automobile Remarketing Manager for American Honda. “Highlighting Carfax 1-Owner cars on the HCUC Web site enhances the shopping experience for our certified customers.”
Since 2004, Carfax Vehicle History Reports have been a key part of the certification process for the Honda Certified program. A Carfax 1-Owner logo on the vehicle details page distinguishes Carfax 1-Owner cars from other Certified Honda vehicles.
“Carfax and American Honda are continuing to improve the search process for our customers looking to purchase certified cars,” said Larry Gamache, communications director at Carfax. “Used car shoppers are looking for Carfax 1-Owner cars and will pay more for them. Identifying these highly-sought after cars on the Honda Certified site helps them sell faster and makes dealers more money on each sale.”
