ROCKFORD, IL – Greater Rockford Auto Auction has enlisted TPC Management Company for strategic consulting in national account business development, management recruiting and training.

“We are looking forward to working with TPC Management as we develop our business plan for the months and year ahead,” said Mark Capriola, auction General Manager. The auction was founded by D.M. “Swede” Clark in July 1974 as an independent two-lane auction near the Greater Rockford Airport. Steady growth over three and a half decades has resulted in two building expansions and a complete reconstruction at its original facility, before the auction moved into its current, six-lane location on Sandy Hollow Road. Greater Rockford Auto Auction has grown to become one of the largest independent auto auctions in the United States, running over 1,000 vehicles each week, featuring consignment from auto dealers throughout the Midwest, and fleet/lease accounts including Chrysler Financial, Remarketing by GE, Americredit, VRS/CAC and Wachovia Dealer Services. Sale day is Wednesday, with a monthly salvage and impound Sale the second Friday of each month. Auction information is available at www.graa.net.

“Mark Capriola, Chad Anderson, (Greater Rockford’s Sales/Marketing Manager), and the entire staff run a top-notch auction facility that has maintained a strong presence in the Midwest since it opened its doors over 35 years ago. Their proximity to both Chicago and Milwaukee, being located directly between both, makes Greater Rockford Auto Auction a great choice for both national accounts and dealers to transact business,” said Pierre Pons, president of TPC Management.

TPC Management Company provides project-based consulting and management recruiting services to a broad array of clients supporting the automotive industry including a comprehensive Auction Services Division lead by TPC Partner, Tom Stewart. Information at www.tpcmgt.com.
