Total fleet sales for January 2024 rose 3.1%, from 154,379 in January 2023 to 159,159 last month, according to Bobit/Automotive Fleet sales data released Feb. 1.
Bobit fleet sales numbers reflect aggregate sales from the three major Detroit-based auto manufacturers and the Asian Big 6. However, several automakers so far have not reported full numbers for January.
Subaru has not reported sales into rental fleets, while it and three other brands -- Hyundai, Nissan, and Toyota -- did not report the number of sales into government fleets. [Automotive Fleet will update this article if and when they become available].
