AMHERST, NY – Stuart Angert, president of Fiserv Automotive Solutions, will retire Sept. 1. Kevin Collins, chief executive of the company, will take over for Angert, according to the Web site, www.banknet360.com. Fiserv Automotive Solutions is a business unit of Fiserv Lending Solutions Group and Fiserv Inc. Fiserv Auto offers products that facilitate loan processing, servicing, and collections, among other things.
Angert was one of three founders of Remarketing Solutions of America (RSA), which was formed in 1991 to remarket off-lease vehicles. The other two co-founders were Andrew Shaevel and Devon Cohen. In 1996, RSA was acquired by Daimler-Benz, parent of Mercedes-Benz. In 2001, Fiserv Inc., a Fortune 500 and S&P 500 financial software and services provider, purchased RSA. The company later integrated more home equity and auto financial services into its offerings after it was acquired by Fiserv Inc. The automotive and mortgage/home equity businesses were later split into business units.
