The board of Auction Edge announced that Scott Finkle will serve as President of the auction industry technology company. With the initial startup phase of Auction Edge complete, former CEO and startup specialist David Weld has left the company.

Finkle most recently served as president of Auction Edge’s AuctionPipeline division. As part of the team that initially developed AuctionPipeline, Scott contributed significantly to defining the AuctionPipeline.com platform as well as incorporating it with various auction management systems.

“Scott has a proven track record of innovation and meeting the technology needs and expectations of the independent auctions,” stated Bob McConkey, Auction Edge’s chairman of the board. “He knows this industry and has been responsible for the evolution of AuctionPipeline and its integration with Auction Edge since day one."
Serving at the helm of Auction Edge, Finkle’s primary responsibilities will be to further the development of the company’s existing suite of products while prioritizing and managing new industry initiatives.
“I look forward to working with our auctions and ensuring that Auction Edge’s tools enhance their ability to be efficient, competitive and profitable,” he stated.
