LIGHTHOUSE POINT, FL – Driver’s Alert, a fleet safety and data risk reduction company, announced it has formed a strategic marketing relationship with FLD, Inc., a direct buyer of end-of-term fleet vehicles and rolling equipment.

As part of the agreement, the two companies will promote each other’s products and services to their customers within North America. Additionally, Driver’s Alert and FLD have agreed to collaborate on joint strategic marketing initiatives. These initiatives will be developed with the idea of providing additional ROI for customers.

The new marketing strategy will further both companies’ current efforts to effectively reach customers with personalized information that is targeted, timely, accurate and, as a result, more compelling and actionable.

Commenting on the relationship, Paul Milazzo, Driver’s Alert co-founder and chief operating officer, said, “We are pleased to work with FLD. There are many synergies between our companies — including the shared value we place on providing our customers with individual, personalized service, a convenient process and best-in-class products.”

Milazzo added that the companies touch some of the same marketing segments although individual contacts may vary. Customers or potential customers for both companies will be introduced to time- and cost-saving services including no-fee, end-of-term vehicle remarketing with a direct buyer, 24/7 real-time access to inventory in the remarketing process, integrated driver observation, online safety training and a real-time driver risk leveling program as a way to reduce at-fault accidents and protect the value of their fleets.

“During economic downturns, it is important to establish relationships with like-minded companies that bring economic value to our clients,” said Gary Mott, Vice President of Business Development for FLD.

“We are passionate about building our business through a strong dedication to meeting and exceeding the needs of our customers, and we believe our relationship with FLD is in keeping with that goal,” said Milazzo.
