Donlen's Fisher and USAF Gen. Wald (Ret.) to Keynote AFLA Conference
ST. PAUL, MN – Several industry speakers and keynoters will highlight the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) 2007 Annual Conference, themed “Turning Change into Opportunity,” Sept. 5-7, at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Ariz.
ST. PAUL, MN – Several industry speakers and keynoters will highlight the Automotive Fleet & Leasing Association (AFLA) 2007 Annual Conference, themed “Turning Change into Opportunity,” Sept. 5-7, at the Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson, Ariz.
U.S. Air Force Gen. Charles F. Wald (Ret.) will be AFLA’s first keynote speaker, discussing “Securing America’s Future Energy” Sept. 6 from 9-9:45 a.m. Wald is founder and president of Wald & Associates, Inc., an international management consulting and strategic planning firm. He is also a board member with the Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC), National Commission on Energy Policy (NCEP), Securing America Future Energy (SAFE), and a member of the Military Advisory Board for the Center for Naval Analysis (CNA).
Mike Pitcher, senior vice president of sales, LeasePlan USA will be the event’s opening speaker Sept. 5 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.
Also Sept. 6, a discussion will be held from 10:45-11:30 a.m. on the Current State of the Automotive Industry: Where is it Going? From 2:15-3 p.m., Tom Webb, Manheim’s chief economist will hold a session on Forecasting Resale Value Trends.
Donlen President and CEO Ray Fisher (former VP sales, service, and parts operations for DaimlerChrysler) will highlight the event’s second keynote address Sept. 7, from 8:30-9:15 a.m.
