Donlen Chooses National Auction Index & Black Book As Resale Benchmarks
NORTHBROOK, IL - Donlen Corp. will add the Black Book Commercial Vehicle Value Guide as its guidebook source to supplement its National Auction Index (NAI) vehicle resale benchmark.
NORTHBROOK, IL - Donlen Corp. will add the Black Book Commercial Vehicle Value Guide as its guidebook source to supplement its National Auction Index (NAI) vehicle resale benchmark.
The NAI, a collection of resale data, reports more than 6.5 million annual transactions. Taken from wholesale auctions throughout the U.S. and powered by AuctionNet, the NAI provides a real-world analysis of market conditions, enabling Donlen to track, evaluate, and respond to current industry resale trends.
Donlen also has chosen the Black Book Commercial Vehicle Value Guide as its independent resale guidebook source. Donlen opted to implement Black Book beginning September 1 to avoid changing over in the middle of a model year. This will replace AMR as Donlen’s guidebook of choice.
“Donlen has always used industry guidebooks for resale, and after evaluating the Black Book Commercial Vehicle Value Guide, we have determined that it provides our customers with better coverage and more accuracy than the previous fleet industry standard,” said Layne Weber, Donlen vice president of remarketing and administrative services.
