MENLO PARK, CA – ATC-Onlane, a North American online auction company for automotive dealers to buy and sell wholesale vehicles, announced that Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. has started to sell its rental fleet on ATC Open (www.atcopen).
By using ATC Open, Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group will be able to tap into a national audience of wholesale buyers as well as reduce costs associated with selling rental fleet inventory. In addition, Dollar Thrifty will offer its fleet vehicles to Chrysler dealers via the car manufacturer’s internal online auction, DC Online (www.dconlinesales.com), which is powered by ATC-Onlane.
ATC-Onlane helps companies ease the burden of selling fleet vehicles through a streamlined process that lowers overall costs and garners a quicker turnaround on sales. Unlike traditional remarketing methods, ATC Open and DC Online will allow Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group to immediately offer its fleet vehicles after the final rental check in to a nationwide network of dealers, resulting in considerably less down time and better overall inventory utilization.
The Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group program on ATC Open and DC Online allows dealers to select from its complete, nationwide inventory that spans a variety of manufacturer makes and models. To make purchasing Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group inventory even easier for dealers, both ATC Open and DC Online provide detailed vehicle profiles, including the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), manufacturer, year, make, model, mileage, color, and grounding location. Additionally, some units available on ATC Open and DC Online may qualify for Certified Pre-owned Programs when they are subsequently sold by a franchisee of the appropriate manufacturer.
