DataScan Field Services Chosen as Exclusive Inspection Provider for Swapalease.com
DataScan Field Services (DataScan) has been selected as the exclusive vehicle inspection company for customers of the world's largest online lease marketplace.
DataScan Field Services (DataScan), a full-service automotive audit and inspection company in North America, has been selected as the exclusive vehicle inspection company for customers of http://www.Swapalease.com,the world’s largest online lease marketplace.
Swapalease.com matches individuals who want to “swap” their current vehicle lease with those who are looking for short-term leases and payments in their price range. To ensure that a vehicle has been accurately described online, lease “buyers” may purchase a vehicle inspection — or “sellers” may order an inspection to prove the vehicle’s condition to potential buyers. DataScan inspectors will objectively document the condition of the vehicle — providing lease buyers and sellers with a detailed inspection report and peace-of-mind.
“When looking at branching into the consumer market, we were impressed with Swapalease’s achievements,” said Brent Sergot, vice president, DataScan. “Over $500 million in successful vehicle lease transfers says a great deal about Swapalease.com — and we look forward to growing with them in this emerging marketplace.”
Lease buyers and sellers may purchase an inspection from DataScan without leaving the Swapalease.com Web site by clicking a link and completing payment information. A DataScan customer service agent will typically contact the vehicle lease owner within 48 hours to schedule an inspection at a location of the customer’s choice, such as their home or office — anywhere in the United States. The inspector checks the vehicle for prior repairs and defects — including exterior, interior, engine compartment, wheels and tires, electrical components, mechanics, and the underbody. The inspection report, which details the condition of the vehicle, is typically available online within 72 hours of the request.
