AUBURN HILLS, MI – Chrysler Group is introducing the "Retail Return Guarantee Program" this summer, which offers a 60-day vehicle buyback guarantee for all Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge dealerships when they purchase select 2005 and 2006 Chrysler Group vehicles at company closed auction venues now through Aug. 31, 2006.

This promotion applies to DaimlerChrysler Motors Remarketing off-rental vehicles available for purchase at company closed auction venues and through the DC Direct Web site. Eligible vehicles include the 2005 and 2006 Chrysler Pacifica, Chrysler Sebring Convertible, Chrysler Sebring Sedan, Jeep Commander, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Dodge Durango, and the Dodge Stratus Sedan. These vehicles qualify for a guarantee of 95 percent of the vehicle purchase price if the vehicle is not retailed within 60 days from the original auction purchase date.

"This program was created to provide all Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealers with the peace of mind and confidence to stock and offer Chrysler Group vehicles with the option of returning the vehicle in 60 days," said Peter Grady, Director, DaimlerChrysler Motors Remarketing. "Launching this program now is designed to stimulate retail pre-owned vehicle sales growth which, in turn, helps support the wholesale vehicle market."

If choosing to return a vehicle after 60 days, a dealer can contact the DaimlerChrysler Motors Remarketing department and return the eligible vehicle to the closest company auction site in order to receive a refund.

Chrysler Group will advertise the "Retail Return Guarantee Program" to franchised dealers through internal e-mail in addition to auction promotions, telemarketing, and direct mail initiatives.
