Dealers Auto Auction of Alaska has been recognized as a leader in its region for Remarketing of America. The auction was recently honored with the 2014 ROA Blue Award for the fourth quarter in the Northwest Region.
"ROA takes great pride in the service we provide to our clients, and we would not achieve this success without the help of great auction partners. ROA recognizes DAA of Alaska for going above and beyond in order to provide the same level of service to ROA that we provide to our clients," said Kevin Parmenter, ROA remarketing manager. "We would like to thank Jason Sundberg, the auction's fleet/lease manager, and his team for all the hard work and dedication shown in an effort to set the auction apart from the others in the region."
Remarketing of America introduced its Blue Award program in 2014. The program ranks auctions for their performance against ROA's productivity scorecard and gives the company the ability to track its auction network to assure outstanding customer service and results for its clients. The award ranks its auction partners in five areas of service: percentage of sell price compared to MMR, days to pick up, days to prepare condition report, number of arbitrations, and days to release funds for sold units.
"We are thrilled to receive this award from ROA, and we appreciate the leadership shown by Jason and his team here at the auction," said Steve Sautner, owner of DAA of Alaska. "As one of our longest-term employees, Jason has worked in most positions at the auction, and that experience really shows in the performance of the fleet/lease department that he heads. Jason is an exceptional multi-tasker who plays a key role in orchestrating the remarketing process with our institutional consignors."
"Remarketing of America is a valuable auction partner, and we appreciate the trust and confidence they have shown in us," concluded Sautner. "We look forward to expanding our service to them as they continue their growth in our market."
Dealers Auto Auction of Alaska, Inc. was established by owner and general manager Steve Sautner in 1997 to fulfill a need in the lending and leasing community for an efficient outlet for Alaska's repossessed and off-lease vehicles. Since that time, the auction has added automobile dealerships, manufacturers, vehicle importers, fleet companies, rental companies, and the federal government as its customers. The auction holds two weekly sale events, on Wednesdays and Fridays at 11 am. DAA of Alaska is a member of the ServNet Auction Group.
