The Conference of Automotive Remarketing (CAR), the original industry-wide remarketing show since 1996, emerges as the only truly independent industry conference with yesterday's announcement that Auto Remarketing Magazine and the National Auto Auction Association have formed a close affiliation.
With over 500 attendees each year, including the top factory, fleet lease, rental car, and bank remarketers, CAR, often referred to as the "Consignor's Show" has over the years attracted formal groups like IARA, as well as the independent auction association to co-locate their meetings with CAR. CAR has become the only industry event allowing major consignors to meet and network with industry vendors and experts from every facet of the remarketing sector.
At this point, it is not clear if Auto Remarketing's merger with NAAA may now be dubbed as the "Auction Show."
CAR is scheduled for January 21-23, 2004, at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. You can learn more or register online at www.bobitexpos.com/car.
