MT. ARLINGTON, NJ - The 2011 International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) Summer Roundtable kicks off at Aug. 16 at the Westin Galleria Hotel in Dallas.
The 2011 IARA Summer Roundtable kicks off at 11 a.m. Aug. 16 with an IARA members only consignors meeting—all IARA consignor members are welcomed.
The first session will be a lively one led by Charlie Vogelheim and featuring some of the founders of the IARA in a fun discussion about why the organization was founded. A pricing panel of consignors led by Ricky Beggs will follow, exploring how pricing is done in an accelerating market.
The evening will be spent at the new Cowboy Stadium with a dinner featuring Carl Eller, NFL Hall of Famer Lineman.
The two roundtables on Wednesday feature open discussions on the VHR process and the new NAAA policies on arbitration and structural damage.
Bob Lutz, former GM Vice Chairman, highlights the awards luncheon with signed copies of his new book "Car Guys vs Bean Counters".
The ever popular Dealers Panel follows lunch, and then an IARA Consignors Panel will present their view of the industry. Tom Webb, Manheim Economist, will then give the economic highlights affecting the auto industry.
