Combs Named General Manager of ADESA San Diego
CARMEL, IN - John Combs has been named general manager of ADESA San Diego, effective immediately.

CARMEL, IN - John Combs has been named general manager of ADESA San Diego, effective immediately. Combs has served as an executive sales director for ADESA since 2006, where he was responsible for managing several of the company’s major national sales accounts.
“John has shown exceptional levels of personalized customer service during his six years on our sales team,” said Tim DeBerry, ADESA regional vice president. “He knows the industry, and he knows what it takes to run a successful auction. I look forward to him leading our team at ADESA San Diego.”

COMBS
Combs began his career in the auto remarketing industry as fleet/lease manager and arbitration manager for ADESA Memphis. He then joined Dealers Auction of Dallas as fleet/lease manager and sales manager. He went on to serve as remarketing manager for Sunstar Acceptance Corp. in Atlanta, and then worked for Bank One Credit Company in the role of auction remarketing manager. Combs is also an experienced auction general manager, having opened a greenfield auction for ABC Auto Auction prior to his return to ADESA.
