OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Enjoying some color and spice from South of the Border, customers and auction staff celebrated Cinco de Mayo at Dealers Auto Auction of Oklahoma City on Thursday, May 5th. "The Cinco de Mayo sale has become an annual tradition at DAA/OKC, and it's a hit every year," said Beam. "The chips, queso and salsa that we served in the lane got things heated up in a hurry, and a great selection of vehicles kept the action fired up in the auction lanes throughout the day."

Topping the prize drawings at the end of the day were drawings for two 32" flatscreen TV's. Dealers also enjoyed the "candy jar" contest, guessing the number of pieces of candy in two candy jobs stationed in the lobby.

Owner and president Gary Smith founded Dealers Auto Auction of Oklahoma City in 1988. DAA/OKC hosts a GM Factory Sponsored Auction every other Tuesday at 10 am, and a regular consignment sale every Thursday at 8:30 am. Located on 125 acres, the auction includes 11 auction lanes, a full service restaurant, and over 130,000 square feet of recon, mechanical and body/paint shop facilities. Offering 1,200 to 1,500 vehicles at its weekly sales, DAA/OKC delivers the highest sales percentage of any independent auction in the region.
