CAMARILLO, CA – Chrysler Financial has chosen Interlink Electronics, Inc.’s e-signature solution to assist the company’s automotive lease turn-in process. IntegriSign e-signature software and ePad-ink are used by Chrysler, Jeep, and Dodge dealerships to e-sign Chrysler Financial lease termination documents.
The new process will eliminate up to 25 days from the previous customer final billing paper-based process.
Chrysler Financial selected Interlink’s ePad-ink, which comes bundled with the IntegriSign e-signature software. IntegriSign encrypts and permanently embeds the signature in the document along with other signature data such as date, time and system configuration. Although IntegriSign works out-of-the-box with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as Adobe Acrobat, the SDK can be utilized to develop custom applications that meet an organization’s particular needs.
The ePad-Ink is an LCD electronic signature capture device that provides interactive visual feedback and an ergonomic design for ease-of-use and true-to-life signature quality. Information such as name, time, date, and affirmation text can be displayed for greater signing context. And the ePad-ink’s ability to capture the biometric information associated with the individual’s signature (X and Y coordinates, signing velocity and pressure) ensures the signature cannot be of repudiated.
