The vending machine, which will stand eight stories high and hold 30 vehicles, will be located in the Westminster, Calif., a city roughly 30 miles south of Los Angeles.
Including this machine, Carvana now operates 20 car vending machines throughout the U.S. The company’s other vending machines are located in cities across Texas, Tennessee, Florida, North Carolina, Maryland, Arizona, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.
Buyers in Southern California could previously only take possession of a vehicle from Carvana through its delivery service. This vending machine will give buyers another way of taking possession of the vehicles they purchase from Carvana’s website.
Carvana’s inventory of used vehicles has been growing in the last couple of years. Currently, Carvana’s inventory of used vehicles has grown to more than 15,000 units.
