Of the five new Carmark Certified dealers, three are franchise dealers and two are independent dealers.

“These dealerships are outstanding additions to our CarMark Certified family,” said Bill Zadeits, manager of POADA, which owns the CarMark Certified program. “Today’s dealer is constantly looking for ways to enhance the profitability of the used car department and CarMark Certified is providing the dealer the opportunity to expand vehicle certification. That not only helps the dealer but is an added benefit and protection to the consumer.

To be eligible for the CarMark Certified program, a vehicle must be within an age range of current model to five years old and have less than 100,000 odometer miles at time of retail.

Vehicles that meet the criteria and are designated CarMark Certified provide the customer either a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty or a 72-month/100,000-mile warranty. Each CarMark
Certified vehicle comes with a complete vehicle history report, roadside assistance, free towing, nationwide repair capability and more.

CarMark Certified was launched in 2010 and currently has affiliated dealerships in 13 states. The CarMark Certified program is administered nationally by the Automobile Protection Corp. (APCO)/EasyCare of Atlanta and supported locally by its affiliated agent networks.
