ATLANTA – Carfax announced that Manheim customers will now have integrated access to Carfax Auction Quick Check and Vehicle History Reports via www.Manheim.com. Reports are now available on the site’s 24/7 “Bid or Buy Now” tool, www.OVE.com. Access for users of Simulcast, Manheim.com’s LIVE bidding tool, will follow sometime next month. Dealers researching vehicles online with Manheim now have access to Carfax information with a single mouse click.
“Access to Carfax Auction Quick Check streamlines the buying process,” said Norm Olson, sales operations manager, Toyota Motor Sales, USA. “Our buyers can pinpoint vehicles ahead of time that may be eligible for our Toyota Certified Used Vehicle program and move quickly when they come up for bid.”
Sue Boehlke, senior vice president, Manheim Online Solutions and Technology said, “Manheim is always looking for ways to enhance its online marketplace with solutions that provide transparency, build trust and improve the online customer experience for dealers. The online integration of Carfax helps us provide for these goals.”
Previous independent studies prove that using a Carfax Report improves inventory turn and increases profit. It’s critical that dealers pay the right price for cars customers want. In addition, used car shoppers get the information needed to make faster buying decisions.
“If you want to win at auction you must have better information,” said Dick Raines, Carfax president. “We're excited to work with Manheim to provide vehicle history information so dealers can pay the right price for cars that fit their customers’ needs.”
