FAIRFAX, VA – Carfax has introduced a comprehensive information package that integrates the benefits of Carfax Vehicle History Reports into a dealer's sales process. In addition to each Carfax Vehicle History Report, subscribing dealers opt to receive four additional reports that make up the Carfax Consumer Info Pack:
Carfax Summary: A one-page vehicle history "snapshot" for any car with a Carfax Vehicle History Report. Vehicles that qualify for the Carfax Buyback Guarantee are clearly identified. Potential owners also see important information about the vehicle, including number of owners, average annual mileage, and open recalls.
Warranty Check: An estimate of the remaining time on the original manufacturer's warranty. Dealers are alerted if an extended warranty is ideal for the vehicle and use the report to help sell additional warranty coverage.
Safety and Reliability Report: An overview of vehicle crash test ratings and other safety information from many of the industry's leading authorities (NHTSA, JD Power, R.L. Polk) for virtually every make and model. Putting this report in front of their customers, dealers can easily answer customer questions regarding vehicle safety.
Customer Ratings and Comments: A collection of comments from past owners and used car shoppers on a specific vehicle's maintenance history and condition. Current buyers receive exclusive feedback by others who've seen or owned the vehicle.
