Carfax is expanding its presence in the manufacturer Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) program marketplace. Car shoppers now get a Carfax Vehicle History Report with every Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC Certified car, truck, and SUV at no-cost from the selling dealer. In addition, all Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC Certified Pre-Owned vehicles are listed for sale on Carfax Used Car Listings.

Recently, the Carfax Snapshot tool was added to each vehicle listing page within gmcertified.com, providing interested buyers with highlights of important Carfax information such previous ownership, reported accidents, vehicle use and more.

“We’re proud to join forces with Chevrolet, Buick and GMC in making their customers’ CPO buying experience better than ever,” said Joe Koenig, vice president of Carfax. “Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC have a long history of customer satisfaction and share in our commitment to transparency. Together, we’re making it easier for anyone shopping for Chevrolet, Buick and GMC Certified vehicles to find the one they love and connect with the dealer selling it.”

Including Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC, 36 manufacturer brand CPO programs currently use Carfax Reports to build more consumer confidence in their certified used cars.

Kaczmarski

“In an effort to further raise our customers’ level of confidence and satisfaction, every Chevrolet, Buick and GMC Certified vehicle now comes with a Carfax Report,” said Doug Kaczmarski, national manager GM Certified Pre-Owned. “Nothing else builds buyer confidence quite like Carfax information. Along with exceptional quality and value, car buyers have yet another reason to choose Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC Certified.”

To make their CPO units even more valuable to prospective buyers, thousands of Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealers have become part of the myCarfax Service Shop program. Participating dealers get free advertising on Carfax Reports and a listing in the free myCarfax app to help ensure more Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles are serviced by GM expert technicians.

Eligible Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC vehicles must pass strict GM certification standards, including qualifying for the Carfax Buyback Guarantee. Wherever consumers shop – online or at a Chevrolet, Buick and GMC dealership – they should look for free Carfax Reports on Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC Certified vehicles.
