CARMEL, IN – Capital One Auto Finance honored five ADESA auctions with its annual Auction of the Year Awards. The awards are presented to wholesale auctions that exhibit outstanding levels of performance and customer service. This year, ADESA had the distinguished honor of being recognized as auction of the year in five regions.

The winners of the 2010 Capital One Auto Finance awards were:

  • Auction of the Year, Southeast Region, ADESA Lexington.


  • Auction of the Year, Midwest Region, Premier’s Montpelier

  • Auto Auction (ADESA acquired this location in 2010).


  • Auction of the Year, Southwest Region, ADESA Austin.


  • Auction of the Year, Northwest Region, ADESA Seattle.


  • Auction of the Year, West Region, ADESA Los Angeles.

    Each year, Capital One identifies one auction from each of its six regions as an Auction of the Year. To choose the auction of the year, representatives assess each auction’s performance in a variety of categories, including sales organization, retention rates and customer service, as well as pre-sale services, such as vehicle transportation and condition reports.

    Several ADESA employees took home Capital One’s Coordinator Recognition Awards as well. Winners included:

    •Emily Clifton, ADESA Lexington.

    •Dolores Soliz, ADESA Los Angeles.

    •Lisa Weidinger, Premier’s Montpelier Auto Auction.

    •David Raper, ADESA Knoxville.

    •Ronnie Hawkins, ADESA Dallas.

    •William Weber, ADESA Phoenix.

    •Jeremy Pomeroy, Premier’s Bay Auto Auction (ADESA acquired this location in 2010).

    In addition to accepting regional and individual honors, ADESA was also awarded the Highest Percentage of Online Sales Award. This award was presented to ADESA Knoxville.
