EUGENE, OR - Brasher’s Northwest Auto Auction has been singled out as a leader for Capital One Auto Finance in the Northwest Region, continuing a winning tradition that has identified auctions in the ServNet group as among the best in the country for more than two decades.

Capital One Auto Finance presented its Annual Auction of the Year awards in Dallas, Texas on January 29, 2010. Present to receive the remarketer’s Auction of the Year Award for the Northwest Region were Lisa Larkin, general manage of Brasher’s Northwest Auto Auction; Mark Melton, auction general sales manager; and Jodi Rowland, auction fleet/lease manager.

Capital One Auto Finance recognizes one auction from each of its regions as an Auction of the Year. Recipients are chosen based on each auction's performance in a variety of categories including retention rates, sale organization, customer service, and pre-sale services, such as vehicle transportation and timeliness and accuracy of condition reports.

Brasher's Northwest Auto Auction holds a monthly sale for Capital One in conjunction with its Wednesday consignment auction. Auction General Manager Lisa Larkin notes that this year’s designation as Capital One’s Auction of the Year is a repeat performance for the Eugene, OR auction, which was named Capital One’s top auction in the Northwest Region in 2006 as well.

"To receive an award like this a second time is an extra thrill for all of us at Brasher’s Northwest Auto Auction,” said Larkin. "We all work very hard to perform at a consistently high level for our customers, always on the look-out for new and improved ways to facilitate the auction process. Receiving an award like this for a second time is an indication that our efforts are not only noticed, but result in success for our customers on the auction block.”

Northwest Auto Auction offers a dealer consignment sale every Wednesday, averaging over 500 units per week and 68-percent sold. A nationally-known leader in the RV auction industry, Brasher's Northwest Auto Auction holds an RV sale on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month. Brasher's "World Famous" Specialty Auction on the 2nd Wednesday and the Tuesday prior averages 700 RV, Marine and PowerSport units from consignors including Bank of America, Bank of the West and GE Money.

Brasher's Northwest Auto Auction has been named Bank of America's Specialty Auction of the Year for four years running: in 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008. It is a three-time winner of ARI's Auction of the Year Award, and is now a two-time winner of Capital One's Auction of the Year Award for the Northwest Region.
