BMW of North America adds Experian Automotive’s AutoCheck vehicle history reports to its BMW Certified Pre-Owned and MINI NEXT programs
SCHAUMBURG, IL — Experian Automotive announced that BMW of North America has named it as a provider of vehicle history reports for its BMW Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) and MINI NEXT programs.
SCHAUMBURG, IL — Experian Automotive announced that BMW of North America has named it as a provider of vehicle history reports for its BMW Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) and MINI NEXT programs. With AutoCheck vehicle history reports, BMW and MINI dealerships are able to assist consumers in understanding a vehicle’s complete history, compare it with similar models using the AutoCheck Score and provide them with confidence that they are selecting the right vehicle.
BMW and MINI dealers certifying vehicles with an AutoCheck report may extend to its customers Experian Automotive’s buyback protection, which safeguards against major hidden title brands on AutoCheck Assured vehicles.
“Providing our BMW and MINI dealers with the option to choose an AutoCheck vehicle history report is an important step forward as we continue to find ways to enhance our CPO programs,” said Stephen Saward, department head, Pre-Owned Sales and Corporate Fleet for BMW of North America, LLC. “It gives our dealers a choice when supplying a quality report to customers and gives our customers added peace of mind when purchasing a vehicle.
AutoCheck vehicle history reports provide automotive dealers with an important piece of data used to determine whether previously owned vehicles qualify to meet high BMW CPO and MINI NEXT program standards and enable their customers to make more informed vehicle decisions.
“Transparency and confidence between automotive dealers and customers is essential to the used car buying process,” said Scott Waldron, president of Experian Automotive. “The in-depth information included in an AutoCheck report provides another level of assurance for customers, enabling them to better understand, compare and select the right vehicle.
