GAINESVILLE, GA - Black Book announced the roll-out of their new iPhone Application – iUsed Car. This new app, available through the Apple iStore, resides on the iPhone or iTouch device to maximize both speed and ease of use. Retail and industry qualified Automobile Dealer only versions are available; the latter incorporates Daily value updates for the most timely and accurate insight available into the wholesale market.

iUsed Car features include: four market driven Black Book vehicle values for more than 18,000 vehicles spanning the last 15 model years, value adjustments for mileage and optional equipment, the ability to adjust values based on region or state, more than 80,000 VIN numbers for fast vehicle retrieval, and an easy to use drilldown capability for vehicle lookup.

“The response to the soft launch of this product has been fantastic. We’ve had more than 1000 customers download our application in less than 7 days on the market. The positive industry feedback has reinforced our belief from the beginning that our iUsedCar app would be a home run” said Tom Cross, President of Black Book. “Combining the technology, speed, and the ease-of-use capabilities of the iPhone, with the power of Black Book daily values, has truly created a new must-have tool for both the dealership and the auction lanes”.

“This is a great app” notes one of the product’s first subscribers, Mike Dzielawa of Armadillo Inventory Management, LLC. “It’s much more convenient than printed books and the ‘Quick List’ feature makes it a great tool for the auction lanes,” added Dzielawa.

Black Book notes that Powersports and Collectable Car apps will launch later this month.
