The average selling price of used vehicles sold by new-vehicle dealerships reached $19,397, according to the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA)'s 2015 Financial Report of New-Car Dealerships.
The data also indicates the average retail selling price of used vehicles retailed by new-light dealerships has increased by approximately $1,897 from 2012 ($17,500) to 2015 ($19,397).
The average monthly payment on a used vehicle for Q4 of 2015 was $359, an increase of $4 from 2014 reports.
There are currently 16,545 new-car dealerships across the U.S.
