AutoTrader.com Launches New Site for its Dealer Customers

ATLANTA – AutoTrader.com has unveiled a redesign in look and functionality of “AutoTrader.com for Dealers."

ATLANTAwww.autotrader.com has unveiled a redesign in look and functionality of “AutoTrader.com for Dealers,” the Web site dealer customers use to manage their inventory and AutoTrader.com account. The new dealer system allows dealers to merchandise their dealership, manage their inventory, and research the market and their competition.

Highlights of the new features include:

  • Dashboard: A visual inventory overview, consisting of tools and performance metrics for vehicles. Provides an immediate, up-to-date snapshot of dealer’s inventory, leads, most-searched vehicles, and also alerts dealers to critical areas requiring their attention.


  • Inventory List: Includes vehicle thumbnail photos and new dynamic filters.


  • Vehicles: Access, add, or update vehicle listings almost anywhere on the site. Vehicle details can be edited in a single-page view.


  • Market Comparison: Dealers can define their marketplace by radius and research and compare their competition’s vehicles to their own.


  • Multimedia: Dealers can upload photos into a staging area and may later connect the photos to their vehicles.


  • Photo Management System: Vehicle photos can be batch or individually uploaded from the user’s computer or multimedia section and may be rearranged with a simple drag and drop function.


  • Advertising Products: Can manage dealership merchandising, including dealership messaging, graphics, and photos.


  • Prospects: Places leads closer to the dealer, by category, allowing users to quickly identify and act on valuable AutoTrader.com generated leads.

    The new and improved capabilities of AutoTrader.com for Dealers are available to all new and current subscription dealer customers at dealers.AutoTrader.com.
