ATLANTA – AutoTrader.com released its new television ad, “Armada” Jan. 11, on the NBA on TNT. Continuing over the course of this year’s car-buying season, the ad will be placed in the national media and also air on local networks.
“Armada” captures the experience of a couple shopping for a car on AutoTrader.com. An armada of cars speeds through the streets towards their house, but as they narrow their choice, first through make and model, then color, and price, cars peel away. In the final shot, the car that meets their needs, in this case a red Mustang GT, spins into their driveway. The message is intended to inform viewers that they can find the right car at the right price at AutoTrader.com.
