AutoTrader.com Announces Expansion of Dealer Training Program
ATLANTA - AutoTrader.com has expanded its dealer training program and added two new trainers. Howard Polirer has been named director of industry relations; Glenn Pereira and Bill Ware recently joined the company as dealer trainers.
ATLANTA - AutoTrader.com has expanded its dealer training program and added two new trainers. Howard Polirer has been named director of industry relations; Glenn Pereira and Bill Ware recently joined the company as dealer trainers.
In his new role, Polirer, along with AutoTrader.com President and CEO Chip Perry, will present on what is happening in the industry on a national level and discuss trends and research findings to dealer groups, associations, and at industry events and conferences across the nation. Polirer has more than 30 years of experience in the retail automotive industry, 15 as a recognized automotive sales trainer. Since 2003, Polirer has trained nearly 15,000 dealers in more than 200 major markets.
AutoTrader.com's new divisional trainers, Pereira and Ware, will educate and train automotive dealers on the industry's best practices to reach automotive consumers and Internet users, optimizing ROI, staffing, and spending on the Internet. Together, they will reach local dealer groups, sales managers, and Internet managers across the country.
Ware previously served as the North American academy trainer at Porsche, and has 20 years in the automotive industry including more than eight years sales and management experience in the retail side of the business. Pereira also has 20 years experience invested in the automotive industry, having served as the operations and training director of an active dealer group in Northeast Pennsylvania, and also worked for a major automotive manufacturer and consulting firm.
