AutoTrader.com is the sponsor of this year's Auto Dealer Monthly Top 50 Independent Retailer Awards. Auto Dealer Monthly worked with various vendors for recommendations, as well as state associations; however the dealer was ultimately responsible for submitting their information. Multiple locations were considered as one, even if owned by multiple corporations as long as the dealer principals were the same. The rankings were based on retail sales unit by volume.
Auto Dealer Monthly released the remaining top 50 ranked independent dealers in their June publication. A complete list of the Top 50 Independent Retailers can also be found at www.autodealerdaily.com/2006DCA_winners.pdf.
