MENLO PARK, CA – AutoTradeCenter (ATC), an online auction company for buying and selling wholesale used vehicles, and Experian Automotive, have partnered to give dealers access to Experian's AutoCheck vehicle history reports when buying dealer-consigned, used cars through ATC's new inter-dealer electronic auction lane (iDEAL).

Accessed via ATC Open at www.atcopen.com, iDEAL allows any licensed North American dealer to list inventory for sale to a large nationwide network of dealers in order to free up retail space and make better use of capital. Through this partnership, ATC can now provide its network of franchise and independent dealers with accurate vehicle information, protecting them from hidden problems associated with a car's history.

ATC's iDEAL program for dealer-consigned car transactions provides free access to AutoCheck reports, tapping into Experian's national vehicle database of more than 500 million vehicles for history information. Franchise and independent dealers can check whether or not a vehicle for sale via ATC Open is of a certain quality, and mitigate unknowingly procuring any damaged or misrepresented vehicles. A link to the reports will be made available on ATC Open's "vehicle detail" page, and provide all relevant vehicle history information, including whether a car has been salvaged or stolen, endured flood or hail damage, been in a fire or accident, had an odometer rollback, or used as a police car, rental vehicle, or taxi.
