CENTREVILLE, VA – AutoLookout has integrated access to CARFAX Auction Quick Check. The tool is initially free for Carfax-subscribing dealers through AutoLookout’s network of auction Web sites. Buyers get vehicle history details such as ownership history, branded title information and damage records reported to Carfax. Using this information, dealers can better evaluate online auction units prior to purchase.
“CARFAX Auction Quick Check is a must-have for the online auction process,” said Dave Stambaugh, Used Car manager at Shenango Honda in Hermitage, PA. “Our buyers can easily identify top quality cars wholesaled through AutoLookout and aggressively bid on the ones our customers want. Carfax helps our dealerships, as well as our customers, buy smarter and with more confidence.”
CARFAX Auction Quick Check highlights those cars that would command a premium price on the retail market, such as Carfax 1-Owner cars. Dealers can quickly identify these much-sought-after units and bid competitively for them. Carfax and AutoLookout have integrated services to provide a seamless solution for their mutual customers.
“The fact is, retail buyers use Carfax Reports in their evaluations, so it makes sense for dealers to know what their customers know,” said Dan Diedrich, President of AutoLookout. “Our auction clients requested this functionality for their buyers and we happily obliged. It is about convenience for the dealer. Information at their fingertips leads to better buys and more satisfied customers.”
Online auction buyers are bidding with greater confidence and cherry-picking their inventory with readily available access to vehicle history information from Carfax. To sign up with Carfax or get CARFAX Auction Quick Check call (800) 274-2277.
