Auto Auction, Inc. Acquires Tri-State Auto Auction of Chicago

DALLAS, TEXAS – America's Auto Auction, Inc. announced the acquisition of Tri-State Auto Auction of Chicago (TSAA). With the addition of Tri-State Auto Auction, America's now owns nine auto auction properties in the U.S.

DALLAS, TEXAS – America’s Auto Auction, Inc. announced the acquisition of Tri-State Auto Auction of Chicago (TSAA). With the addition of Tri-State Auto Auction, America’s now owns nine auto auction properties in the U.S.

According to Ben Lange, president of America’s Auto Auction, Inc., “I am pleased to announce that Tri-State Auto Auction of Chicago takes its place as the newest member of our auction family. Tri-State Auto Auction has served dealers and institutional accounts well for over a decade, and has distinguished itself as a premier auto auction in the Chicagoland market.”

“We are also pleased to report that Larry Hero will continue as the auction’s General Manager,” continued Lange. “With nearly 20 years of experience in this market, Larry is well-known in the Chicago area and leads a staff that is known for its responsiveness and professionalism. His proven abilities in auction operations, coupled with his expertise in sales and marketing will help shape TSAA’s growth as a member of the America’s Auto Auction group”

Tri-State Auto Auction of Chicago offers over 1,000 vehicles every week, including dealer trades, repossessed units, government vehicles, boats and truck inventory to meet the needs of both buyers and sellers in the Chicagoland market. TSAA holds weekly dealer auctions on Wednesdays at 9 AM, a weekly public sale on Saturdays, and a monthly dealer highline auction. TSAA also offers vehicles online through a variety of channels, including Auction Pipeline, Smart Auction, OpenLane and OVE. A full-service auction, TSAA also offers vehicle detailing, mechanic services, auto body and paint work, windshield replacement, glass repair, title processing and auto transport.


Tri-State Auto Auction joins eight other America’s Auto Auction properties in Dallas, Houston, and Austin, Texas; Tulsa, Okla.; Greenville S.C.; Jacksonville & Pensacola, Fla.; and Pittsburgh, Pa.
