“Over the past year, ATC-Onlane has seen a remarkable increase in the number of vehicles available for purchase on our online auction sites across North America,” said Roger Butterwick, president, ATC-Onlane. “The addition of Kerry to our management team will ensure that our technology platform not only offers easy and convenient access to a broad variety of inventory, but continues to be the best online channel for buying and selling wholesale vehicles in the industry. Furthermore, Kerry’s wealth of experience with high-growth companies, business acumen and technical knowledge will help us address the needs of a wide array of customers that visit our auction sites every day.”

Champion has held a variety of positions ranging from software engineer to founder. Moreover, he has helped take several start-ups to the next level. For example, he played an instrumental role in the execution of successful IPOs while serving on the management teams at BroadVision and Tumbleweed Communications.

Prior to joining ATC-Onlane, Champion served as vice president of engineering for PostPath, a Matrix Partners backed start-up that created high performance messaging solutions running on Linux. Later in his career, he was founder and CTO of Westbridge Technology, a provider of extensible markup language (XML) messaging and service-oriented architecture (SOA) solutions.
