ARI Remarketer Receives Industry's First IARA CAR Designation
MT. LAUREL, NJ – ARI, announced its senior remarketer Jim Jackson as the first participant from a fleet management company to successfully complete the IARA Certified Automotive Remarketer program.
MT. LAUREL, NJ – Automotive Resources International (ARI), a global fleet solutions provider specializing in complex car and truck fleets, announced its senior remarketer Jim Jackson as the first participant from a fleet management company to successfully complete the International Automotive Remarketers Alliance (IARA) Certified Automotive Remarketer (CAR) program.
The certification program was created by the IARA to formally recognize outstanding remarketers. Completion involves extensive coursework in areas such as pre-, post- and actual-sale activities, legal and ethics issues, and remarketing terminology. Program participants must pass 20 tests to obtain certification.
Jackson’s extensive industry experience lent itself well to his achievement of this certification. As senior remarketer, his responsibilities include managing auction sales, conducting remarketer training, and answering client-related and salvage remarketing questions. Jackson also gained a wealth of industry experience from his previous posts at Insurance Auto Auctions and Adesa Impact.
“Since he arrived at ARI, Jim has been an invaluable member of our team,” says ARI Director of Remarketing and current IARA President, Bob Graham. “This certification will help him to further our remarketing efforts and give ARI an edge in the industry.”
Jackson is the fifth individual in the automotive industry to complete the program. ARI has nine other employees currently working towards the CAR certification.
