Auction Management Solutions, Inc. (AMS), has announced the availability of OnLine RingRep, a new module in the OnLine Ring suite of products, which expands an auction’s ability to allow remote sellers to represent their cars without physically being at the auction.
Auction Management Solutions, Inc. (AMS), has announced the availability of OnLine RingRep, a new module in the OnLine Ring suite of products, which expands an auction’s ability to allow remote sellers to represent their cars without physically being at the auction.
OnLine RingRep allows a remote consignor’s representative to communicate with the auction as if he or she were present on the block during the sale. The representative can utilize OnLine RingRep to monitor the sale from a remote location receiving a live audio and video broadcast along with instantaneous bid information, and communicate instructions to the clerk or auctioneer on the auction block. OnLine RingRep can be used independently or in conjunction with AMS’ cornerstone product, OnLine Ringman, which enables traditional auctions to extend bidding and reach to an unlimited number of remote bidders via the Internet.
