AmeriFleet Transportation announced April 20 that it has wholly acquired Wichita, Kansas-based Compliance & Rick Services, Inc. (CRS) in a move to expand its menu of services to the medium- and heavy-duty truck leasing arena.

CRS specializes in providing DOT Compliance auditing services, log auditing, safety management and training, and risk assessments to corporate fleets operating trucks in both the over-10,000 lb. GVWR and 26,000 lb. GVWR markets. CRS’ founder and president, Ken Cotton, who joins AmeriFleet as director of compliance and regulatory services has more than 20 years experience in the DOT regulatory services industry. “In this age of heightened scrutiny of our country’s transportation systems, we have taken this step to better assist our clients who operate DOT regulated vehicles to manage the increasingly complicated rules and requirements mandated by the federal and state governments” explains Helene Kamon, vice president of AmeriFleet.
