ALLETE Automotive Services Announces HQ Move
ALLETE Automotive Services, a division of ALLETE, Inc., announced that it would be moving its corporate headquarters to Carmel, IN, from its present location in Indianapolis.
ALLETE Automotive Services, a division of ALLETE, Inc., announced that it would be moving its corporate headquarters to Carmel, IN, from its present location in Indianapolis. The move, expected to be completed in early 2004, is being made to increase efficiency by bringing together several of its businesses which are currently operating at different locations.
About 400 employees will move to the new 180,000-square-foot building to be constructed in the Meridian Street corridor in Hamilton Crossing at 126th Street.
ALLETE, which includes ADESA Corp., said the move will result in the retention of 400 posi-tions and the creation of 250 more jobs over the next 10 years. In addition, the company said it will make a $25 million capital investment over the next five years.
