CARMEL, IN – ADESA Impact, a subsidiary of ADESA, Inc., has named Jon Black as corporate controller of ADESA Impact effective January 30, 2006.

In his new role, Black will be responsible for all facets of financial reporting related to ADESA Impact (U.S.) and Impact Auto Auctions (Canada). He will also be heavily involved in identifying efficiency opportunities for the company, due diligence activity related to salvage acquisition opportunities, and integration of new acquisitions to ensure standardized accounting and reporting practices.

Prior to joining ADESA in 2002, Black worked in public accounting for PWC for more than five years. He replaces Michael Eliason, former ADESA Impact Controller, who was recently named director of corporate development for ADESA, Inc.
