CARMEL, IN — ADESA announced that the company’s 62 auction locations throughout North America will be participating in National Auto Auction Week, Aug. 23–27.
The National Auto Auction Association (NAAA), which was founded 62 years ago in August, established this week to increase the public’s awareness of the industry, as well as to recognize the positive role its members play in both the national economy and the local community.
“As proud members of NAAA, we are pleased to be participating in this special week that celebrates our employees, our customers, our local communities and our industry,” said ADESA President and CEO Tom Caruso. “When I first got into this business, it was through NAAA that I learned so much about the inner workings of the auction industry and had the privilege of interacting with so many industry leaders.”
ADESA has maintained an ongoing partnership with NAAA, an association that supports the best interests of the auto remarketing industry, as well as provides essential training and collaboration to all its members. Throughout the years, numerous ADESA employees have also served on various NAAA boards and committees.
