CARMEL, IN - There is an old joke that classic car enthusiasts don’t acknowledge winter, spring, summer, or fall. To them, there are only two seasons—car show season and the rest of the year. Well, car show season is officially here. And ADESA Boston is ready to roll out the red carpet for more than 300 masterpieces on wheels at the 10th annual Classic Car and Motorcycle Run June 6.

This is more than just an annual classic car and motorcycle show. Local businesses, law enforcement agencies, and employees of ADESA Boston and ADESA Concord all pitch-in to make this a family friendly event for everyone in the surrounding communities. Attendees can enjoy:

“When we started this a decade ago, we really only had two goals: to give money to a children’s organization, and to make sure all proceeds went directly to the charity,” explained Jack Neshe, general manager at ADESA Boston. “It is simply amazing how much this event has grown during the past 10 years, and how we have been able to help so many charities with the support and hard work of our community, our customers and our employees.”

During the past 10 years, ADESA Boston has raised more than $250,000 for different children’s charities in the Boston area. Last year, the auction raised nearly $27,000 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. All proceeds from the 2010 event will be donated to the Kendall Rose Davis Memorial Foundation, which is dedicated to raising funds for Children's Hospital Boston.

The 10th annual ADESA Boston Classic Car and Motorcycle Run is June 6 at ADESA Boston, 63 Western Avenue, Framingham, MA 01701. Registration for cars and motorcycles is $25. Check-in for the 30-mile police escorted run starts at 9 a.m., and the run leaves at 11 a.m. For those who don’t have a car, a $7 admission charge allows the public to view the classic cars and motorcycles after the “run.” Children under 12 are free. For more information, call (508) 626-5401.
